The Iowa Three Percent are made up of law-abiding Iowans that are committed to preparing for any threat against ourselves, families, communities, state and country.

As section 1 of the Iowa Bill of Rights states, we firmly believe:
“All men are, by nature, free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights – among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.”

The Iowa 3% stands as a last line of defense to preserve, protect and defend the State of Iowa, our constitutional republic and those inalienable rights for ALL regardless of race, religion, gender or political belief.

We believe the people of Iowa and the United States of America have a God-Given right to defend ourselves and our property, especially in a time where so many are pushing to defund the police and while our military seems more concerned with how many genders there are than with what our adversaries are up to.

We believe in judging people based on their merits and not the color of their skin, gender or sexual orientation.

We believe in preserving history no matter how flawed or painful it may be and we adamantly oppose whitewashing or outright changing our history to pacify those that might feel offended.  Those that do not learn from the past are bound to repeat it.

We’re business owners, factory workers, civil servants, retired military, railroad workers, cooks, farmers, teachers, cashiers, nurses, firemen, law enforcement, mechanics, etc.

We’re from Council Bluffs, Des Moines, The Quad Cities and everywhere in between.

At the end of the day we’re all just like you.  We’re regular folks here in Iowa made up of men, women, old, young, different races, different backgrounds and different religious beliefs that are simply tired of watching our country and our moral fabric be ripped apart by this new radical left ideology that threatens our security, economy and way of life that we all grew up loving and believing in.

We’ve had enough of being told that we should feel guilty or ashamed of the color of our skin if we’re white or being told we should feel victimized if we’re not. 

We’ve drawn a hard line in the sand when it comes to indoctrinating our children with a Marxist/communist ideology through programs like critical race theory pushed by leftist radical teachers and school board members.

We’re sick of the hypocrisy from the left and the media accusing everyday folks like you who’s just trying to make an honest living of being racist, a NAZI, an Uncle Tom, a homophobe or whatever other labels they can throw out to anyone that doesn’t buy into their radical cult ideology.

But above all we’re a family that trusts each other and have each other’s backs.

Almost all new members come in nervous and not sure what to expect only to walk away saying they feel like they’ve known everyone in the group their whole lives.

Many on the left and in the media would like to paint us as radical, racist, antigovernment, fascist and whatever other “ist” they can come up with.

• RADICAL

  • If we burned entire city blocks, looted stores, beat people up in the streets, over-ran and burned police precincts and shut down city council meetings all in the name of social justice and political change then I guess we would be radical however we’ve never done any of those things.

• RACIST

  • If we were advocating changing racial “equality” which means everyone gets an equal opportunity to “equity” which means everyone should get an equal outcome then yeah we’d be racist, but we don’t advocate for that.

    If we implemented a $4 billion farm debt relief fund explicitly excluding a group of people solely based on their race then yeah, we’d be racist… but we don’t advocate for that.

    If we ran companies and publicly announced that we would only be hiring people of a specific race, we’d be racist… but we don’t advocate for that either.

• ANTIGOVERNMENT

  • THE I3P IS NOT ANTIGOVERNMENT!

    The I3P does NOT advocate overthrowing our government.

    That said… the I3P stand as a last line of defense against those that would seek to hijack our government and replace it with a tyrannical dictatorship or a one-party rule that would strip away our constitutional freedoms.

    One of our primary goals is to preserve, protect and defend our state and our constitutional republic.  If this makes us “antigovernment” in the eyes of those that seek to destroy our republic and strip away state’s rights then OK.  It’s not like they haven’t already changed the definitions of some words in the dictionary so why not?

    Now if we spent several years trying to subvert, undermine and unseat a sitting president through a smear campaign, disinformation and flat out lies and then tried to use the impeachment process not once but twice based on these lies and disinformation then we could potentially be antigovernment, luckily we’ve never done that.

    If we forced a city council meeting to shut down in our state’s capitol and intimidated sitting city council members and journalists the we could potentially be antigovernment, however we’ve never done that either.

• FASCISTS/NAZIS

  • The definition of “fascism” is still:

    A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

    What comes to mind here is Facebook, Twitter, Google and the media censoring the opposition (both citizen and sitting presidents/congressmen/senators) if they say/post anything counter to the left’s narrative.

    Also the push to take voting away from states and secure it under a much stronger federal government to ensure the opposition has a much harder time winning anything going forward to help secure one-party rule seems a little fascist.
